Cheesy Hasselback Zucchini II FULL RECIPE

Unknown

We’ve been seeing hasselback potatoes everywhere—so we decided to turn the tables and use the technique on one of our favorite summer vegetables, zucchini.
Turning any vegetable into a “hasselback” can be a little technical and time-consuming (check out the video above), but a sharp knifeand some precision can make the task less laborious. Practice does make perfect, so feel free to make the slices a little thicker than ¼ inch the first few times you make it. Once you become more comfortable with the task, you can make the slices thinner.
Here, we made a compound butter full of lemon zest and Parmesan cheese and slathered it into all those mini pockets. While the zucchini are roasting, basting is key: You’re basically spooning liquid gold over the vegetables, which come out of the oven crisp, cheesy, buttery and delicious.

Skillet-Baked Pasta with Five Cheeses

Unknown

Emily and Matt Hyland of Pizza Loves Emily in Brooklyn first discovered this baked pasta dish when they were on their first date in Providence, Rhode Island. Rather than the fancy sushi place Emily had intended for them to go to, they ended up at Al Forno and fell in love with the "pasta in the pink," which eventually inspired them to recreate the dish to serve guests at their own restaurant.
Skillet-Baked Pasta with Five Cheeses

Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 50 minutes

1 pound small pasta shells
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
3 ounces fresh ricotta (about ½ cup)
3 ounces fontina, grated (1 cup)
3 ounces fresh mozzarella, grated (1 cup)
3 ounces pecorino, finely grated (3 cups)
3 ounce mild blue cheese, crumbled (¾ cup)
1 cup canned crushed tomatoes
1 cup whole milk
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon finely chopped rosemary
3 whole scallions, thinly sliced at an angle

2. Preheat the oven to 500°. In a large mixing bowl, combine the five cheeses. Remove ½ of the cheese and set aside.
3. Pour the tomatoes and milk into the mixing bowl with half the cheese. Season the mixture with salt and pepper and stir to combine. Add the cooked pasta and rosemary and toss.
4. Pour the pasta into a shallow 12-inch cast-iron skillet. Sprinkle with the remaining ½ of the cheese and bake until the top is bubbling and golden brown, 16 to 18 minutes.

WARNING: Watch How These Guys Fight Violently Because of Pokemon Go!

Unknown
Many people around the world are now getting hooked and addicted to Pokemon Go. The game is now considered as a 'social media phenomenon' that has brought people together because of its popularity and exciting way of playing. The game is free to play. Just download it in your phone, activate the phone's GPS and internet connection and you are ready to go!

In the Philippines, the Filipinos were so excited as it was officially launched a few days ago. Getting captivated in the said game made most of the Filipinos addicted, as everyone aims to catch all the Pokemon in the list, most especially the rare ones.

However, not all Pokemon Go players are ended up with happy and satisfied results. It seems that Pokemon Go is a harmless game, but the game itself can also be the root cause of the fight among players, just like this video that is now viral online.

A group of guys was caught and filmed fighting outside because of the game. The video was so violent that they have to fight one another because of competing themselves in luring a Pokemon (maybe they found a rare or a powerful one) in the area. Because of the intense fight, other people were helpless and they were just watching as they were afraid to get involved.

Watch the video below:

To all Pokemon Go players, hope this incident will serve as a reminder that do not take so seriously in playing Pokemon Go. What's more important is the safety of each player and good relationship among players. There is nothing wrong with playing with it. Make love and friends, not war.

MUST WATCH: This Family's Tradition Is to Watch A Family Member 'Making Love' for the First Time!

Unknown
It is a human protocol and has to be taken consideration the privacy when making love (of course!). This activity, when done by two persons, seems to be very awkward and will surely result to shame and humiliation to themselves if they have been caught doing it on the actual. It shows that individuals, in a normal state, still enrootsthe social and moral norms with regards to sexual behavior.

However, this one is the irony of what everyone is thinking right now. There is a Singaporean family that has the tradition of seeing a member of a family doing the 'sacred act' for the first time. They believe that witnessing the intimacy of the husband and wife after wedding is important to be seen and make it an exceptional one.

A photo, which is now spreading online, has been uploaded by the husband's uncle, showing a newly wed doing it while other members are watching for them.

“While most people may consider it odd, for our family there is nothing more proud than celebrating a son, brother or nephew having se* for the first time. We see it as the last step on the long journey to adulthood, and it’s also a special chance to witness the moment that a new life is formed,” the uncle said.

“I felt nervous having my family there to accompany me, and also give me guidance on how to proceed. At first I had trouble entering my girlfriend, but my mother suggested I take things more slowly and relax, and I was able to eventually slip it in.” he added.

He ended, “I snapped the photo right at the moment before he came, and it was truly a beautiful scene.”

Their way of making it exposed within the family, which is contrary to most of us, is really a bizarre! Is this really real? You may share your insights by posting a comment/s below.

Best auto insurance companies

Unknown

Thinking about shopping your auto insurance? A huge percent of people never shop their insurance needs -- and that's a bad idea considering that modern American business punishes loyalty, rather than rewarding it.

Car insurance ads on TV promise accident forgiveness, vanishing deductibles, and other selling points. But those features are just a side show to the main act, which is a company's reputation with satisfying customers after a claim is made.

Best and worst auto insurers

According to Consumer Reports, the top 2 insurers are USAA Property & Casualty and Amica Insurance, two of Clark's longtime favorites. Just a hair behind them is New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company, a company that's never much been on Clark's radar.
Firmly in the middle of the pack you have insurers like State FarmMercuryGeicoAmerican Family and others.
On the flipside, among the lowest rated auto insurers in the country are Farmers Insurance and Hanover Insurance. Just a hair above them you'll find Allstate, Metlife Auto & Home, Liberty Mutual and Travelers, among others.
When it comes to car insurance, be sure the deductible you have isn't too low. Having a low deductible pushes premiums higher. It could also tempt you to make a claim for a small incident that will leave you in trouble with insurers going forward.

Auto insurance rates are on the rise

It's no secret that auto insurance premiums are going up around the country. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statisticsfound that car insurance rates rose more than 5% from March 2015 to March 2016 at a time when was inflation was negligible at less than 1%.
But the picture is darker than that for your wallet. According to the Insurance Information Institute (I.I.I.), a deeper and longer dive into the last two years of data found that premiums actually rose an average of 10% during that longer period.
The simple answer to why rates are going up so much has to do with Americans driving more in part due to lower gas prices. But there are actually more moving pieces to the explanation...

3 reasons why you're paying so much

The I.I.I. list the following as deeper factors behind the insurance hike:
  1. The improving job market not only means more Americans driving, it also means more accidents. In fact, the National Safety Council noted the largest year-over-year percent increase of accidents in 50 yearswhen crash fatalities rose 8% from 2014 to 2015.
  2. Increased speed limits are a big culprit in the rise of insurance costs. Twelve states have raised their speed limits to 70 or 80 miles per hour over the past four years. Texas even has limits as high as 85 mph! Ohio, meanwhile, noted the instance of crashes skyrocketed by nearly 20% in the two years after they upped their speed limit.
  3. The average price an American pays for a new vehicle hovers somewhere in the low $30,000 range. More expensive rides require more coverage, and when there are accidents, medical costs, litigation costs and the cost of auto repair work continue to rise faster than prices overall.

What can you do about it?

Just because premiums are higher, it doesn't mean you're fated to pay more for car insurance. Shopping around for coverage is the single best thing you can do to lower your premium. Here's how to start the process...

Begin by identifying solid companies

Clark has long talked about the merits of Amica Mutual and USAA. But those aren't the only two companies you should look at. Consider buying a one-time subscription to Consumer Reports and checking their latest list of the best auto insurance companies to find others that should make it onto your shortlist.

Get your quotes

Once you have a list of candidates, you'll want to start getting quotes. This typically takes around 15 minutes on the phone per insurer. Have your most recent policy in front of you in case any questions come up about the make and model of your vehicle(s).
Working with an insurance broker is another option. He or she will get multiple quotes for you and you'll have access to all the insurers they do business with. It's an easy one-stop shop that lets you still have the flexibility of comparison pricing.

Compare quotes

Once you get the quotes back, it's time to compare them. Each quote should be based on the same amount of coverage so you can do an apples-to-apples comparison. What if a poorly ranked company offers you a great quote? Clark says to avoid them! While the premium might be tempting, you want to be sure your insurer is there for you when the chips are down.

Know when to drop comprehensive and collision

The general rule is when the cost of comp and collision exceeds 10% of your old vehicle's value, that's the time to dump it and just have liability coverage. You can determine your vehicle's value at Edmunds.comKBB.comor NADA.com.
So let's take a simple example. Say your vehicle is worth $4,000. If you're paying anything more than $400 annually (that's 10% of $4,000) for comp and collision, it no longer makes any financial sense. One notable exception to this rule: If there's no way you could financially cover the loss of your vehicle, forget the math and keep paying for comp and collision.

Be prepared to take a higher deductible

You should always opt for a $1,000 deductible for the best savings on your policy. At that level, you'll pay a lower premium and won't be tempted to file any small piddling claims.

Don't forget about discounts!

The I.I.I. reminds you that there are a ton of different discounts out there. Here are some you can ask about:
  • Antitheft devices
  • Multiple policies with the same company
  • College students living away from home
  • Defensive driving courses
  • Drivers ed courses
  • Low annual mileage
  • Long-time customer
  • More than one car
  • No accidents in three years
  • No moving violations in three years
  • Student drivers with good grades
